I had given up....
I had just about given up on hydroponic tomatoes!
You couldn't tell the difference between them and the outdoor tomatoes and they cost a lot more - but now your tomatoes are just great - something's changed and we're really glad!

Our family loves tomatoes.
Mum & Dad came from Italy after WW2. They reckon Flavorite tomatoes taste the same as tomatoes they ate as kids in Italy.

Eat tomatoes like apples
Just a few lines to congratulate you on producing tomatoes like I ate as a child. I am 52 years old and it has been years since a tomato tasted and smelt as good as yours. I asked my 20 year old daughter to try your tomatoes and have a smell of it. She thought I had lost my marbles. When she smelt the tomatoes, she said that it had been years since a tomato had smelt so good.
We are very good tomato eaters and now I can go back to eating my tomatoes like apples. Thankyou for a great product.

Going the distance!
Just a quick note to let you know that your tomatoes have come all the way to Kingaroy in Queensland. There is a vendor who goes to the markets in Brisbane approx 220kms from Kingaroy and then brings a mini van loaded with fresh veg back to Kingaroy and some surrounding towns.
Your tomatoes were in this fortnights veggie box and I just had to let you know how yummy they are and how they got all the way here in great condition. Thank you, as your website states we do not have to put up with hard tasteless tomatoes.

I would like to say thankyou. I have been saying for years that someone out there should grow what the customer wants and that is a tomato that has taste. Good on you! You deserve all the success that's coming your way.
Sure your tomatoes cost more but quality will be long remembered long after the price is forgotten.

They taste so good!
Thanks for reviving the memory of what tomatoes used to taste like. I bought some of your tomatoes in Colac a few days ago, I could not resist the colour and aroma and after eating one i could not believe they could taste so good, real old tomato flavour and texture.
Unfortunately, I live at Lorne 50 miles from Colac but I just have to go back to get another bigger supply and some for my family. Thank you again very much for a job well done.

Such a natural aroma!
Just want to congratulate you on a great product. When i took in the aroma from your tomatoes bought at Woolworths here in Cannington WA it took me back to when i worked in the tomato glasshouses in Holland at the age of 9 before going to school. It is probably the first time since, I can remember that I smelled such a natural aroma from tomatoes.

Beautiful Truss tomatoes
Hi,
I have purchased some of your lovely Truss Tomatoes and they are just beautiful. Tender skin, full of flavour and beautifully locally produced.
I am so tired of all these food products etc. being imported from China and the likes, and completely unnecessary when we produce such wholesome food in this country. Keep up the good quality and nutrition.I am growing some of my own vegetables, don't know if I can do as well as you, but oh well, I can try.

Storage question?
I have just purchased 500g of truss tomatoes. I don’t need all of them straight away, so was hoping you could tell me the best way of storing them.

The best way of storing tomatoes is on your bench away from direct sunlight. It is a common belief to store them in the fridge but please don't as the cold destroys their flavour.

Great Tomatoes
To everyone at Flavorite,
I just want to say how fantastic your tomatoes are. Originally coming from Northern Victoria where we grew all our own fruit and vegies, I am appalled at the no-taste, non-ripened fruit and veg that we have to suffer in Melbourne. I defy anyone to tell one piece of fruit from another if blindfolded to taste them!!
Then I discovered your “tomatoes on the vine” at my local greengrocers at Kerrimuir shopping centre. He told me not to put them in the fridge and let them ripen on the bench – well, as each day passed the aroma of “real tomatoes” became apparent and soon we were enjoying their wonderful flavour – just like our days on the farm!
I have now organized myself to have a fruit basket just for the tomatoes and I buy a small amount 2-3 times a week – by the time we need to buy more, the last lot have ripened and are ready for use.
I also love the “please don’t refrigerate” tag on the vine – so many city people would not even think to leave their fruit out of the fridge to slowly ripen, so you are educating them to enjoy their food – the natural way.
Keep up the great product – it is so nice to be able to really enjoy tomatoes again

Delicious!
Hi to all at Flavorite
A few days ago we bought some truss tomatoes having been attracted by the price and the look of the fruit. On arriving home I was eager to try one so after washing and slicing, I did the taste test. Unbelievable!! As they say in the classics, this is how tomatoes used to taste!!
Next day I went back and bought another 5kg and the following day another 5kg for someone who tried them at my home. Yesterday some friends were over after we had played golf and I cut up some “flavorites” to add to our snacks and they were gobsmacked by the flavour. I know that they will be buying some today.
I have emailed your website to some fellow gardeners and suggested that they have a look. A great website with lots of informative reading. You seem to do everything so well.
Hoping that one day we will visit either the main address at Warragul or take a drive up to Bundaberg to the new plant. Is this in operation and are visitors welcome? If so, I’d appreciate the address, etc.

Love your tomatoes
I love your tomatoes, they seem to have a pollen-ish, rough-ish skin
that is full of flavour and tastes so real and right! Not waxy like
loose tomatoes.
